Basics about perSonas

PerSonas is a hybrid AoS. There are two lanes with creeps and a base for each team, similar to DotA. You can win either by destroying the other team's main base building, or by reaching a certain number of kills (typically 10 per player on your team). The game is designed to be very fast-paced.

The most salient point of the game is the perSonas aspect. You choose not one, but two heroes, and can switch between them, tag-team style, by using the PerSona Switch ability (hotkey Q). Your other hero instantly switches in, with the same hp and mana percents as your hero currently has, as well as items and experience. However, all buffs are purged off. Of note, you can perSona switch to dodge a projectile in the air heading towards your hero. PerSona switching has a short cooldown, so consider wisely when to switch.

Also, spells do not cost mana. Rather, mana is used as a shield. Damage taken will first deplete your mana points - you will only lose hit points if you run out of mana. Hit points do not regenerate for the most part; mana (shield) points do. Your shield is displayed as a purple bar over your hero, so it's easy to see how much shield everyone has left.

Finally, experience is partially global. This means you will earn some amount of experience no matter what, as long as your heroes are alive. You will still earn additional experience, however, by being near dying enemies - as you'd expect.

Those are the main things you need to know, assuming you have at least some experience with AoS gameplay (like DotA). Have fun, and remember that the map is a work in progress. If there are any glitches, or if you have suggestions for how we could improve the map, please post them on this forum!
