HERO REMAKE CONTEST:

We're not 100% happy with the Alchemist. If you think you can improve him, please submit a suggestion in this thread. It can be a replacement for a single ability, or a total overhaul of the hero, or even just some modifications to the effects of his existing abilities. Anything goes - whatever you think will make him more fun to play and a better hero in perSonas. Winner gets some special "alone time" with Bengal. *wink*

This is a completely serious thread, though. If you love the Alchemist EXACTLY as he is, please let us know - that's useful feedback - otherwise please do offer some suggestions for what can be changed.

Spell 1: Volitile Concoction (STACK)
Volitile concoction is a slow moving projectile which deals damage and induces slow poison. The longer the projectile moves before it hits it's target, the more damage it does.
This spell has a VERY short cooldown, however each time it is cast, it accumulates damage at half the speed of the previous cast.

Spell 2: Dummy Potion (STACK)
Creates a potion in the alchemist's inventory. If the alchemist cannot hold it, the item is dropped.
If the item is dropped it explodes after 10 seconds or after being stepped on. It deals damage and stuns enemies or heals an ally (even the caster).
If the item is given to an enemy, it cannot be dropped and will explode normally after 10 seconds.
Small AoE (225 game units?)
The dummy potion has a small chance to be accidentally dropped on creation, and the chance increases each time it is used.
The dummy potion also has a very short cooldown.

Spell 3: Detox
In a violent explosion, the Alchemist resets his toxicity to it's base, removing the damage reduction in volitile concoction and chance of dropping dummy potions. Using this damages the Alchemist's shields which is given to any enemy close enough to the explosion. Detox cannot be stopped from casting and takes 2 seconds to charge up the cast during which an obvious effect shows him ready to detox (alerting enemy personas to come get the free shields)

Ultimate: Havoc (CONDITIONAL)
The alchemist temporarily does not apply it's reduced values to it's primary and secondary skills, and during this time their cooldowns are reduced even further (around .5 seconds now).
The effect lasts only 10 seconds and afterwards it cannot be used again (disabled) until the alchemist detoxes.

Problems:
Volitile Concoction might be overpowered against noobs (who do not know how to persona switch and instead just keep running from the projectile)
New players may have a tough time finding the right time to DETOX, and expert players will have an easy time taking advantage of free shields.

I like that one. A suggestion: I feel that some kind of passive damage boost fits nicely, that would go down slowly (even to negatives) until detoxed. Also, giving shields to an enemy when you detox is a bit too much, the casting time and mana cost should be enough.
