Atari the Space Defender

Atari is gonna be an agility hero, model file of a helicopter. Average speed, average attacks.

Skill 1: Baby Missile

Shoots out a baby missile. Missile travels 500 units forward at a speed of 400, and then explodes dealing 100/185/270/355 damage. Has an AOE of 300/325/350/375

Skill 2: Weapons Upgrade (passive)

Weapons Upgrade! once every 1.3/1.2/1.1/1 seconds, Atari shoots out a bullet infront of him traveling in a straight line. Has a range of 600/650/700/750. Damage dealt is 50/60/70/80. Bullets travel at 600

Skill 3: Atari Box

Infront of Atari in a rectangular area, walls appear, trapping all units inside the rectangle inside the rectangle. However, this box if flawed, there is one opening in it, and thats the side facing atari.
Box is roughly 650x425 units big? Lasts 3/3.5/4/4.5 seconds.

Ultimate: Battle Stations!

Atari enters his battle stance mode. (two mini helper fighters appear on either side of Atari and start shooting projectiles like crazy. Preferably lasers and rockets) During Battle stance, Atari becomes invulnerable during this duration, and the only way he can be moved is by pushing left and right on the keyboard (moving him left and right). Lasts 3/4/5 seconds. Atari's helper fighters deal a lot of damage, increasing per level.

Kind of an interesting idea, actually. I'm not sure the Left-Right controls for the ultimate would work, although that's some cool thinking.

The other abilities all sound fine, believe it or not, pending some number tweaks.

Can you re-think his Ultimate a bit? It just seems a bit dry, if we couldn't get the L-R control system to work.

And can you link the model you had in mind?

I could get the L/R system to work with local triggers if you need, but the question is do you really like the thought of arrow controls in an aos..? (I don't..)

uhhhhhh for the model, i was just thinking of the flying machine (humans). If u want, ill look for a custom model. For his ultimate, the 2 fighters cud be like really small goblin zepelins.

I think the arrow control would be cool, its not much, really short time using the arrow keys.
that being said, do u still want me to rethink the ulti?

Yes. The only way arrow keys can be used is if the camera is locked to a unit and you're playing LAN. And that doesn't fit pSa.

well cant u make it taht when ulti is activated, give Atari 2 new skills. hotkeys A and D. When A or D is pushed, it changes unit position left or right for like 10 units. Wudnt that work? It wudnt be holding down, but itd work.

Flying machine model is probly OK.

L-R controls don't fit, is the idea.

Haha, I just realized what you were going for here. The auto-missile plus the box plus the left-right thing...very amusing. I think it would be too disruptive for the gameplay of pSa though - I mean, you have two heroes, you know? That said, I like the notion and I'm going to think...how about a Pulse Ward that releases a Thunderclap every 2 seconds?
