Pit Fight + Clones? Empty Pit Fight + Clones?

I was playing pit fighter one time and i challenged a ranger 2 a fight. at the exact time he cloned and 12 or somthing rangers showed up in the fight. right when they dispeared "150+" showed up everywhere! after the dual he said he had gotten about 1500 gold. im guessing that this will work with anybody who has a clone skill and uses it right before challenge
